Service Description

Join our Adventure Water Activity Day for 8-12 yr olds on free school meals at Grip Adventure in Sale. You will enjoy learning how to canoe and kayak and have a hot meal afterwards! Friday 30th August- 10:00-13:00 We will meet at meet at the front entrance to the Kings Ransom Pub, Sale M33 2AA . Please arrive on time! At Grip Adventure, their core mission is to ensure inclusivity and accessibility for all. They empower young individuals in developing personal and interpersonal skills, fostering self-confidence and self-esteem with the ultimate goal is to mitigate the risk of their involvement in unsafe activities. Our team comprises highly skilled professionals capable of delivering a diverse range of outdoor and indoor learning experiences. Each team member has undergone a thorough DBS check to ensure safety and trustworthiness. You will need to wear suitable clothes for physical activity such as sports wear, joggers or leggings and t-shirts as well as hoodies/ jumpers/ coats in case it in cold (although we will soon warm up with the activities provided). Bring a coat, sun hat and bottle of water too. Also we have a No nut policy All our sessions are open to young people of different abilities, please note on the form if your child has any additional needs or access requirements, we will try our best to support and accommodate them. We can not support personal intimate care. We will prioritise young people on benefit related free school meals.
